Early afternoon (around 1300-1400 estimated time) we had periods of sustained winds around 40 mph with gusts estimated as high as 55 mph. Line of brief heavy rain came thru then winds slacked substantially to around 10-15mph afterwards. Max. temp. around 73F.

4/21/2017 7:00 AM 2.73 M M M M **Observation made at 0810** Period of Intense lightning around 0230 was highlighted by a strike less than 100 yeards from my bedroom window. Rain was heavy along with considerable lightning just after 0700 when I awoke, hence my logical reasoning for the delay in my observation at that time.
4/22/2017 7:00 AM 1.26 M M M M The main squall line that moved thru around the 0900-1000 hour accounted for the majority of additional rainfall. 3-4 inch/hour rainfall rates at the height of the storm, dime sized hail, wind gusts to 65mph and a moderate amount of IC and CG lightning were the chief highlights. There was a period of strong winds, possibly the result of either a "bubble high"behind the main convective band. From around 0930 to a little around 1030 roughly, frequent gusts to about 50 mph out of the north and northeast. Indeed, an interesting system to say the least.

4/29/2017 7:00 AM 3.48 M M M M Two line segments of severe thunderstorms in the pre dawn hours. the first one hitting around 0200. Half dollar to possibly ping pong ball sized hail propelled by wind gusts to around 50mph and considerable CG activity. The second wave hit around 0315. This one harboured an intense gust front with gusts close to 70mph. Hail was only pea sized; which was a good thing. CG activity once again, considerable with one close bolt about 200 yards away. More rain and thunderstorms until just before sunrise. Temps, in the mid 40's currently with a brisk NW wind and more rain on the way. Feels great outside!
