Last nite we left town about 2000 in a hard snow. About 8.5 miles, the last 5 on a 2 lane winding road which we traveled by watching tire tracks before us, still snowing hard. Hubby measured 1 1/2" on a fence post. Born in Phx, this desert girl had never traveled in snow like that. Measured 3 1/2" on the snowboard. Wednesday abt 1210 I heard thunder. 15 minutes later hubby went out and hollered there is drops on the car. We didn't hear it so don't know how long this was. It didn't even wet the ground. Nothing in the gauge but little bugs. wet where it came off the roof.
