Rain gauge had water, not ice, in it. Lots of bare ground showing - maybe 50% in the open, tall grass prairie meadows. Snow board is located in a forest opening where the only bare ground is where the deer have trampled. Here, snow depth ranged from 8cm to 16 cm, but mostly around 8-12 cm.

Total accumulation of snow ranges from 7.5-13 cm in the forest opening where my snowboard is. In the open fields, bare ground is about 50%.

"Snowed all day", according to my husband. Distant flakes most of the time. Total snow depth ranges from 39-47cm. No core taken.
