From 08:30 am to 3:00 pm yesterday we accumulated an additional 6 cm of snow between sunny skies and snow squalls with strong gusting winds out of the west in the morning to late afternoon. Temp at 2:00 pm yesterday was +4 C. When the snow blowing was done noon, with the sun out periodically, the residual snow melted quickly on pavement and vehicles. Snow that fell at 04:30 am was cold, light and fluffy. By mid day yesterday, it was easy to make snow balls no matter where the snow was picked up from.
