The grass had dried. Interestingly this year I only have a single fire ant mound. Normally there is a half-dozen. So perhaps the cold last winter did impact the foreign bugs. Also, I have not seen any armadillos this springs. Our neighbor's lawn usually runs a herd.

It should be accurate ±0.1 inch. I really hated spilling it since it was the most we recall ever measuring. Wide spread flooding like we have never seen (15yr) at the firehouse at the bottom of the hill. Significant water running over Indian Hills Rd at Old Somerville Rd. The area east of Indian hills was completely filled. The depth of the catch basin at the firehouse was deep. [edit: CoCoStaff NN called observer to discuss if any photos or visual reading occurred before measuring. Observer reported that it came up to "0.45" on the inner tube as a visual from the entire overflowed gauge. Using the "Forney Formula" based on TX Coordinator Billy Forney y=8.6(x)+1.1 and the volunteer report of the visual 0.45 we get a total of 4.97. This lower amount is primarily due to inner-tube displacement - 4.97 will replace 5.50]
