The fields have large amounts of standing water and the farmers are now unable to remove the last of their crops due to moisture. We have had snow that has not entirely melted and the temperatures are 10degrees below normal. Highs are only getting to about 5degrees Celcius. This is probable my last reading for the winter season as we do not have a winterized home.

I have six rain barrels at the back of the shed but only two have some water in them. Sure need a good rain of at least a inch or more to put the moisture back in the ground, there is also a burn van in effect.

We have standing water everywhere, in the fields and ditches, and the ground is now saturated. We are also expecting a Colorado low on the weekend with an estimated dump of snow to accumulate about 20 centimetres.
