Stayed home & made enchiladas for our road crew and firefighters will deliver them tomorrow. Plows have been out 3x's already, 6' snowbanks with 3' berms to plow through to get out. Love it, send the complainers to the desert!

I took green chili chicken enchiladas & cookies out to the wildland firefighters below Vallecito Dam tonight. We want them to know we appreciate their efforts to keep us safe. I do this for all the fire stations in Upper Pine Fire District. The coordinator Paul Valdez will be the guest speaker next week to our residents to keep them aware of the dry hot weeks we've had and lack of rain so they can be aware of dry fuels around their homes to be safe from wild fires. I've been the Fire Ambassador here, since 2006 trying to educate our large population of their responsibility when living in the forest. Very few are still here during the Missionary Ridge Fire in 2002.

Not sure if the moisture in the gauge was from hail or some rain. My flowers took a pounding too. The ground isn't damp, so must have been mostly hail.
