High yesterday hit 90*. Temp dropped to 70* around 5:00 when a t-storm came blowing in. Left that first inch of rain in about 20 minutes, along with nickel-sized hail. Into the late evening an overnight a large complex of nasty storms developed not far north of my location producing a vivid light show, strong winds and flooding rains. A storm complex formed near Chicago moving SE, until it took a right turn and moved straight south just west of the IL/IN state line leaving a lot of downed trees, etc. I watched in radar all afternoon'evening.
