* Snowboard sample has 3 layers:
* Top layer 1.3 - 1.5mm ice + granular cake
* On snowboard, bottom layer of ice is no more than 1.0mm but on lawn surfaces ice is uniformly 2.0 - 2.5mm .
* Used a stiff blade scraper to cut the cake around the gauge and loosen/lift the bottom of the sample.
* It'll be just fine with me if it all melts before 7:00 am, Monday, 18 Feb 2019.... :-) |
