Mostly cloudy yesterday. Most storms went east of us. But at 4 pm got slammed with a boisterous t-storm with heavy rain. That one storm awarded us with .07". Highs in the low 70/upper 60's. Massive intense storm systems rolled thru after 9:30 pm. First the skies turned Mars orange with the upcoming t-storms. Then at 10:30 pm along River Jct Rd we received 1/4" of precip in the form of half dollar size hail. Largest I've seen in over 20 years. Then at 3 am another sell came thru with a bit of rain but the piece de resistance was at 5:10 am when a large lightening filled stormed hit with another half inch of rain included. Nobody slept in the Ovando area last night. :-) |
