Apologies in advance for the nutty measurements. We have virtually no protected spots here, and the wind is howling. I know we're not supposed to measure in drifts, but I can see grass in a spot or two, and then there are plenty of places I can't even walk through. The total depth is from 5 spots, deepest 21" but it gets much deeper than that in drift areas. I got several measurements yesterday and this morning to total the 2.3" of new snow, as it snowed in the morning, then on and off, and we had a pretty solid lake shower around 9:30pm. I'm wondering if some of the light crystalline snow we're having now is off of Cayuga Lake 1/2 mile down the hill. |

Yesterday there were wet roads not a mile from here, but no evidence of rain here. Overnight my wife thought she heard some rain on the window, but there's no evidence of that now. The gauge is completely dry. Could be a T, calling it a 0 for no conclusive proof. |

It POURED up the hill in Poplar Ridge at arund 5pm and a bit after. I got home here to find just .20 in the gauge, so we did not get the rain as heavily. |
