The ice has been hazardous, though the ice skating has been better than in years. At one point, after midnight, there was probably about five inches of new snow on the ground -- but by the time I got arose it was down to about two-three inches. There is hard ice under the new snow, or what is left of it. The wind came up yesterday (3/22) and it was windy overnight. Today it is clearing and warm.
