Dodged the snow-bullet last night. Radar indicated edge of snowstorm moving very slowly north all afternoon until, around 8:00 p.m., edge reached this area and a few icy flakes started to fall ~8:20. Sporadic flurries started at 8:55 yesterday. From 9:10-9:20 a.m., heavier flurries due to lake enhancement fell. Nothing sticking at this time. At 2:45 p.m., steady snow flurries began with a temp of 36 degrees; by 3:15 p.m., the temp was 35 and snow started sticking to grass and rooftops. Very heavy, wet flakes fell from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. and deposited the bulk of the snow. Snow tapered off from 5:00-5:30 p.m. and was finished by 6:00 p.m., which is when depth was measured.
