I took a reading at 7pm last night which read 0.05. This mornings reading was 1.94. So we received almost 2 inches of rain overnight on the mountain. Rain will change to snow by mid morning with dropping temps. Current mountain top temp is 41 degrees and it’s still raining |

It’s been a steady 17 degrees since 4am on the mountain this morning. We received 2.5 inches of new snow yesterday, according to Snowshoe, as my snow board isn’t setup yet. We’ve also had more freezing fog. Clouds should break and we should have bluebird skies for the afternoon! |

Yesterday we received some snow on the mountain. I went to take a reading around 7 p.m. and as it was melting the tube tipped over spilling the contents. Current temp is 13 degrees with a beautiful sunrise taking place! |

Good morning from Snowshoe Mountain. I woke up late yesterday and wasn’t able to take a reading, so I waited until this morning. The .07 precipitation total is for 48 hours. Snowshoe reported a half inch of new snow yesterday, as we had light snow showers through the day. Right now the temp is 22 with bluebird skies. We are forecasted for sun and mid 30s today. |

Good morning everyone. Yesterday was a beautiful bluebird day on the mountain. We received 1.5 inches of new snow overnight, which had a water content of 0.12 inches, and it’s still snowing with some freezing fog as well. The temp right now is 30 degrees and it’s supposed to drop to 10 degrees this afternoon and the. The bottom drops out overnight with very cold temps. We are forecasted for windchills as low as -35. |

Good morning from Snowshoe Mountain. The current temp is -7 and the wind chill is currently -25 to -35. Yesterday was downright brutal with the wind chill, as we recorded a wind chill of -64! We received .5 inches of fresh snow with a water content of 0.06.Today we expect blue bird skies and diminishing winds with a high of 10 degrees. |

Good morning from Snowshoe. Winter made its return yesterday after a morning high of 39 degrees. By sunset the temp fell to around 20 degrees and we had a little bit of freezing fog last night. Currently the temp is 10 degrees and the windchill is -9. The wind warning expires at 9am and after a few morning clouds, we are forecasted for some sunshine and a high of 28 degrees. |
