with the strong winds we get here, a lot of the snow clung to the outside of the gauge, so I took that too. snow is wet, slushy. most of the snow on the ground had melted down to a trace by 7:00 pm. still lightly snowing at the time of observation |

.76 in was measured at 5:45pm yesterday; had to dump out the rain gauge when I got home from work. raining so much I just left the snow gauge out. No real flooding in our area; just the usual pond in the dip in the driveway. |

A very exciting evening: saw a funnel cloud over the Bighorns at about 7:15pm, and a huge storm cell toward the SE where Bill and Lance Creek had tornado warnings. high winds here with rain not long after sighting the funnel cloud; no hail. |

woke up to basically clear skies overhead, with lingering clouds/virga over the Bighorns to the West, Kaycee to the South, Sussex/Lynch to the
southeast, hwy 90 to the east. Emergency alert for tornado warning was received 15 min after the actual storm cell had passed by overhead, with thunder, lightning and rain. No hail, and very little wind. Did not observe any rotation in the clouds; just the anvil shape with overshoot. |
